Bryan Danielson: I Know I’m Not Cool Because I Think Someone Is Not Cool, But They Are Cool

Bryan Danielson is one of the greatest in-ring performers in wrestling history.
But is he cool?
“You know how I know that I’m not cool? I think somebody is not cool, and it turns out they are cool. For example, I didn’t think Daniel Garcia dressed very well. I said something along the lines of, ‘Yeah, your style, I just don’t think you’re cool.’ Everybody who is that age was like, ‘Are you kidding me? Garcia dresses super cool.’ Ohhh, I’m the one who (is not cool). To be fair, if you talk to people who have known me for a long time like Samoa Joe or Christopher Daniels, I’ve never been cool. It’s not like when I was 21 and calling Christopher Daniels ‘Old Man Daniels,’ that I was cool and he was not cool. He was not cool and I also was not cool. I was young and not cool, which is actually less cool,” Danielson said on Wrestle Radio Australia.
Christopher Daniels was being called “Old Man Daniels” when he was 30.
Elsewhere during the interview, Danielson commented on the rise of Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page. You can find his comments here.
