The Bellas have been prominent members of the pro wrestling industry over the course of the past decade and a half, having fame in multiple reality shows as well as their pro wrestling career. In addition, Brie Bella is married to AEW’s Bryan Danielson, who decided to let his mischievous side roam free when it came to his daughter Birdie’s name for her aunt Nikki.
While speaking to Entertainment Tonight in a new interview, The Bella Twins explained how Danielson convinced Birdie that ‘Coco’, her name for her aunt Nikki, actually meant ‘toots’ and that she now calls her ‘Dodo’,
Nikki Bella: “Originally I was Coco, and that was like a natural name, and I got so excited that naturally I was given the name Coco, and then her husband ruined it all. He convinced Birdie that Coco meant ‘toots’, and so she started to call me Dodo. As a rib as a joke, he did that to me.”
Brie Bella: “So when she would hear, my daughter would hear Coco, she’d go, (blows raspberry).”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Nikki spoke about getting to appear on WWE’s Netflix broadcasts. You can read more about that here.
