Bronson Reed Recalls Reassuring Phone Call With Triple H After Ankle Injury, ‘When You Come Back, You’re Gonna Be In The Right Spot’

Bronson Reed received a ton of reassurance from Triple H.

During the WarGames match in 2025, Bronson Reed suffered an ankle fracture after diving off the top of the cage onto a table.

At the time, this was a devastating hault to Reed’s run, but the ‘Auszilla’ was able to quickly bounce back after returning to in-ring competition in the summer of 2025.

Speaking with Rolling Stone for a new interview, Reed recalled interacting with Triple H backstage after the injury.

“I stood up and I walked backstage. The doctors didn’t think I had anything broken because I was able to walk. But then [WWE chief content officer Paul Levesque] came and sat with me backstage, and he was trying to reassure me… I went to stand up and I couldn’t stand up.”

Then, Reed recalled a phone call where Triple H assured him that he’ll have the right spot when he gets back.

“He called me himself, and he said, ‘Just worry about rehabbing and getting yourself right again…when you come back here, you’re gonna be in the right spot.”

Reed got a huge singles opportunity at WWE Clash In Paris, facing Roman Reigns in a singles contest. Check out the result of that bout by clicking here.
