Brodido Wins AEW Tag Team Titles At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door
Brodido (Brody King & Bandido) captured the AEW Tag Team Championships at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, defeating the Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) and FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler).
The finish saw Brodido hit their assisted 450 onto Dax, with Cash being just late on the save.
Hurt Syndicate were attacked by Ricochet & Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona), who were wearing NJPW tracksuits before unmasking. The match was billed as an elimination tag team match, but the Hurt Syndicate were never pinned.

This marks the first reign as AEW Tag Team Champions for Brodido. Hurt Syndicate held the titles for 214 days and made six successful title defenses.
FTR and Brodido earned their title shot by competing in the AEW Tag Team Title Eliminator Tournament, going to a 30-minute draw in the finals.
