Brodido (Brody King & Bandido) Defeat Max And Jeremy Buck To Advance In AEW Tag Title Eliminator Tournament

Brody King and Bandido are so close to securing a spot at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

On the August 6 edition of AEW Dynamite, the Young Bucks faced off against Brodido (Brody King & Bandido) in the semi-finals of the AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament.

Their fast-paced encounter ended with a shocking result, as Brodido was able to pull off the victory. Bandido made the successful pin on Matt Jackson after nailing him with an assisted frog splash.

With the win, Brody King and Bandido will now face FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) in the finals of the tournament. The winning team will challenge the Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin) for the titles at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

The loss is devastating for the Young Bucks, as they’ve now lost two out of their last three tag team bouts. Furthermore, the Bucks are still dealing with production issues, as their nameplate on tonight’s show read ‘Max & Jeremy’. This is a reference to their names in TNA Wrestling.
