Bret Hart Names Kurt Angle As Dream Opponent

For a guy like Bret Hart, there aren’t a lot of wrestlers he hasn’t faced. His career spanned numerous eras as he was able to wrestle the best of the best. When it comes to technical wrestling, Bret was one of one until an Olympic gold medalist showed up in WWE.

In a recent appearance on the Johnny I Pro Show, Hart discussed who his dream opponent would be, “Yeah, Kurt Angle would be one,” Hart said after thinking about it for a few seconds.

“I mean there’s a lot of guys, Kurt Angle would be one of the first ones that comes to mind,” Hart continued. He later mentioned the likes of Lance Storm, Chris Jericho, and Rey Mysterio.

The Rock vs. Shawn Michaels is one of the first “dream matches” that comes to mind for everyone, but Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle would’ve been an instant classic, no doubt about it. Throughout the hour long interview, Hart discussed plenty of topics including calling this WWE superstar’s punches “embarrassing.”
