Booker T: You Can’t Count Bubba Ray Dudley’s Eight ECW Tag Team Title Reigns, Those Are Regional Titles

Booker T and Bubba Ray Dudley have had some heated exchanges on WWE LFG as opposing coaches on the show. 

Both men are decorated tag team wrestlers with Booker winning the WCW Tag Team Titles eleven times and the WWE Tag Team Titles three times. Bubba has held the ECW Tag Team Titles eight times, the WWE Tag Team Titles eight times, the WCW Tag Team Titles (as part of WWE), the TNA Tag Team Titles, and the NWA World Tag Team Titles, and the IWGP Tag Team Titles. 

Speaking to Adrian Hernandez of Unlikely, Booker explained why some of those reigns shouldn’t count. 

“Always beef with Bubba. I just have to keep Bubba straight. Him and his championship reigns. He’s buffered his championship reigns for many years. I didn’t want to say anything. I never wanted to say anything about the ECW Tag Team Championships. Those eight tag team championships. You can’t count those. Those are regional. They’re regional, man. For me, I’m just all about telling the truth. Booker ‘Straight Down The Middle’ T. That’s what they call. I’m all about the truth,” said Booker.
