Booker T On Roxanne Perez: It Got To The Point Where I Couldn’t Critique Her Anymore
After a very successful run in NXT, Roxanne Perez quickly made a name for herself on Monday Night Raw. Alongside Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan in The Judgement Day, Perez is poised for a big role in 2026 and beyond.
On the latest episode of Muscle Memory, Malcolm was joined by her trainer, Booker T. Roxanne got off to a hot start in Reality Of Wrestling as the five-time WWE Champion had nothing but great things to say about her career.
“Roxanne, she’s been trained properly,” Booker T joked. “At the end of her run at NXT Roxanne would have her matches and she would always ask me what I saw. It got to to the point where I couldn’t critique her anymore.”
He continued, “Even if it was something that she needed to figure out, she would figure it out. She’s like her own teacher now. The thing is I see that because I was that way. I got to a point where I could actually teach myself… Roxanne Perez is not the biggest dog in the fight but like Shawn Michaels, she projects so much bigger.”
Perez and Morgan kicked off 2026 with a bang by becoming the No. 1 Contenders for the Women’s Tag Team Championships, currently held by Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley.
