Blake Monroe Turns Heel At WWE Evolution, Costs Jordynne Grace NXT Title
Blake Monroe steals the spotlight at WWE Evolution. While the NXT Women’s Championship was contested between Jordynne Grace and Jacy Jayne, Monroe proved to be the difference maker.
Blake Monroe accompanied Jordynne Grace to the squared circle. She intended to neutralize Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley. She was successful in that, but in the end, also chose to betray Grace. She would hit Grace in the back with the NXT Women’s Championship belt, giving Jayne the opening to pin her challenger.
Initially, the commentary team of Wade Barrett and Michael Cole thought this was a mistake. However, a replay showed that Monroe intended to do the dirty deed. After the match, she handed Jayne the championship belt.
Blake Monroe is a former AEW Women’s World Champion, known formerly as Mariah May. She joined WWE in June 2025. She just successfully teamed with Jordynne Grace to defeat Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne at the WWE NXT Great American Bash on July 12.

Jayne now goes on to wrestle Masha Slamovich at TNA Slammiversary. The winner of that match will hold both the NXT Women’s Championship and the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Check out the full card for that event here. It takes place on June 20 at the UBS Arena on Long Island.
