Bishop Dyer Says He Texted Finn Balor And CM Punk In Excitement When He Found Out He Was Wrestling Satoshi Kojima

Bishop Dyer recalls how he immediately texted Finn Balor and CM Punk when he found out he was wrestling Kojima.

Last month, it was announced that at MLW Slaughterhouse on October 4th, Bishop Dyer would take on Satoshi Kojima in a Opera Cup quarter final bout. For Dyer, this was a bucket list booking for the former WWE superstar.

While speaking to Wrestlingnews.co and SoCalVal in a new interview, Bishop Dyer spoke about his excitement about getting the chance to wrestle Satoshi Kojima, immediately texting Finn Balor and CM Punk after finding out.

“I immediately text Finn Balor, because I know he’s been in the ring with Kojima. And I was like, ‘Dude, check this out.’ I text CM Punk, ‘Check out who I’m going to be wrestling in California with MLW.’ Like, it was this super surreal excitement. The reason I love wrestling is, I’m a fan of it. So you look at that and it’s like, how can you not be a fan of him and what he’s done?”
