Bishop Dyer (Baron Corbin) Says Dog Food Segment Was One Of The Most Painful Things That He’s Ever Experienced

Bishop Dyer hated the dog food segment for a much different reason.

In January 2020, Roman Reigns and The Usos defeated Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, and King Corbin in the main event of SmackDown.

The six-man tag bout had a special stipulation though, as it was branded as a ‘Loser Eats Dog Food’ match. To the disgust of many fans, SmackDown went off the air after Corbin was handcuffed to the ring post and covered in dog food.

Speaking with Jeremy Lambert and SP3 of Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds podcast, Dyer recalled the segment, saying that it was one of the most painful things that he’s ever experienced.

“They handcuffed me to the post when when we did that. They’re pouring dog food on me and everything, chili, and whatever else they had in that bowl. I was hanging in the handcuffs, but I couldn’t get my feet under me because it was so slippery. I was literally hanging by the handcuffs. It was one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced because it felt like it was getting ready to cut my thumbs off. Vin Diesel in Triple X, when he’s hanging by the handcuffs, ‘I’m done. Shoot me, please.’ That was the worst. I was screaming at the stage people to help me because the show went off the air and everyone is starting to move. ‘SOMEBODY PICK ME UP! MY THUMBS ARE COMING OFF!’ Brutal.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Bishop Dyer recalled getting a massive reaction at WWE’s Paris live event in 2023. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
