Bishop Dyer (Baron Corbin) On 2019 Match Against Becky Lynch And Seth Rollins: That Was Super Underrated, I Loved That Match

Bishop Dyer is a big fan of his match with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

In July 2019, Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans teamed up to face Rollins and Lynch at the Extreme Rules premium live event in Philadelphia. Stakes were high for the contest, as the Universal Championship and Raw Women’s Championship were on the line.

The match wasn’t received that well by fans, but to this day, Dyer believes that the match is underrated.

“That was super underrated. I thought that match was awesome. They did the big table spot. People are like, ‘Well, it wasn’t a big crowd.’ It was supposed to be a live event and they switched it to a pay-per-view. It’s not a PLE crowd. I loved that match.” Dyer told Jeremy Lambert and SP3 on a recent episode of Fightful Overbooked’s In The Weeds podcast.

Elsewhere in the interview, Bishop Dyer recalled his dog food segment on SmackDown in 2020, saying that it was one of the most painful things that he has ever experienced. Fans can check out his full comments by clicking here.
