Billie Starkz Tweets Through It After Learning Athena Is Teaming With Mercedes Moné In AEW Women’s World Tag Title Tournament
Starkz is not happy.
Before the bracket for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Title tournament was revealed, one of the teams was formed on-screen.
After TBS Champion Mercedes Moné had been embarrassed by Harley Cameron and AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander, she was interviewed outside the venue. Moné’s face was covered in cake from the segment with Statlander and Cameron.
She was approached by the returning ROH Women’s World Champion, Athena. Athena went on to suggest that she and Mercedes should team up in the Women’s World Tag Title tournament, and Moné agreed.
Athena’s running mate, Billie Starkz, caught wind of the segment and the official announcement that Moné and Athena are teaming up in the tournament and expressed her unhappiness about it on X.
