Billie Starkz ‘Studying The Best’ Ahead Of Pure Championship Tournament Semifinals
With the ROH Women’s Pure Championship tournament finally wrapping up at Final Battle, Billie Starkz now knows her opponent in the semi-final. After defeating Serena Deeb on a special Black Friday edition of ROH TV, Yuka Sakazaki punched her ticket to the semifinals.
Starkz took to social media to send a message not just to Sakazaki, but both Deonna Purazzo and Queen Aminata as well.
“When you’re a student of #MIT you study game. I know the end game, so why not study the best! Jay Lethal, Samoa Joe, Nigel McGuiness, Bryan Danielson, Gresham… Time to be the inaugural/youngest Women’s Pure Champion.”
With the finals taking place at Final Battle on Friday, December 5, the semifinals are likely set to occur on the Thursday, December 4 episode of ROH TV. Starkz is one of four competitors still vying to become the first Women’s Pure Champion, though Aminata’s health is still a concern as her injury has not been addressed in the tournament.
Back on April 5, 2024, Starkz became the inaugural ROH Women’s TV Champion when she defeated Queen Aminata at Supercard of Honor. She held the title for 112 days.
