Becky Lynch Shuts Down CM Punk Chants In Ireland On WWE SmackDown, ‘Nobody Wants That Old Ass’
Becky Lynch made a surprise appearance on WWE SmackDown, welcome the Irish crowd to the big time.
Becky opened by saying that Ireland finally got a televised event, leading to a big cheer.
After the crowd chanted, “We deserve it,” Becky shut down the chant, saying they didn’t deserve it. She said that they didn’t deserve to be on TV. She expressed her disappointment in the lack of media coverage she receives in Ireland despite all of her accomplishments. The crowd chanted for Lyra Valkyria, and Becky said Lyra would not be there and that she couldn’t challenge for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
The crowd chanted for her to “Shut the fuck up” and for “CM Punk.” She responded to the CM Punk chants by saying, “Nobody wants that old ass.”

Becky was interrupted by WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton.
Nia Jax came out and said Becky has bigger problems than Tiffany before decking Stratton. Jade Cargill made the save for Stratton. Cargill and Lynch had a brief staredown before Lynch ultimately bailed.
SmackDown general manager announced that Jax & Lynch would take on Stratton & Cargill in the main event.
