Becky Lynch Wins Women’s Intercontinental Championship On 1/5 WWE Raw
Becky Lynch kicks off 2026 with a big victory.
As the first hour of WWE Raw came to a close, Becky Lynch and Maxxine Dupri tangled once again, as ‘The Man’ challenged the upstart for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. This match continued the long-standing feud between Lynch and Dupri, which started back in August.
In the end, Lynch was able to back up all of her smack talk, as she defeated Dupri to win back her title. The finish saw Lynch reverse a submission attempt from Dupri into a pinning maneuver that used the bottom rope.

With the win, Lynch ends Dupri’s stint with the Women’s Intercontinental Title at the 50 day mark. Throughout the reign, Dupri successfully defended the title on one occasion, defeating Ivy Nile on the December 15 episode of Raw.
The victory also starts Lynch’s second reign with the title. Her first reign lasted 163 days back in 2025.
