Becky Lynch Reveals The Best Advice She’s Received From John Cena
Becky Lynch recalls getting some great advice from John Cena.
Ahead of John Cena’s final match on December 13, WWE posted a fun video on their YouTube channel that prompted various wrestlers to share the best advice that they’ve gotten from ‘The Greatest Of All Time’.
Becky Lynch got the chance to share the advice that Cena gave her after SummerSlam this year.
“So, just this past SummerSlam, I had a match and it wasn’t my favorite match. I didn’t love the match. I came back and I was downtrodden and I was upset and he was like, ‘Hey, you good? You physically fine? She physically fine? Did the crowd react?’ I said, ‘Yeah.’ He said, ‘Well, then what’s the problem?’ I said, ‘It just wasn’t my best.’ He said, ‘Well, you get to do it tomorrow.’ I think that kind of simple advice of, you know, nothing is ever permanent in this business. We can go and one match or one promo can turn everything around. The next night, I went out and had a pretty damn good promo if I do say so myself. I name dropped him in that promo and he texted me and said, ‘See? It can all turn around in one night.’”
