Becky Lynch: As I Get Older, I Push Back A Lot Less
Becky Lynch has worked her way into being one of the top females in WWE as a WrestleMania headliner and a multi-time champion. The top stars in WWE are always thought to have more say backstage when it comes to their matches and stories.
Becky has come under criticism from fans online for always holding a title or being in the title picture.
Speaking to Nick Viall on Going Deep, Becky was asked if she pushes back backstage.
“As I get older, I push back a lot less. I found it’s futile. I’ve pushed back so much in my career. I’m now starting to realize, ‘Eh.’ You just gotta make the best,” said Becky.
Seth Rollins, who was also a guest on the show, said the push back was not about keeping championships, but was about making the best story.
Becky continued, “You fight for what you really think is right, and then you’re wrong so many times. You’re like, ‘This isn’t going to work, they’re going to hate it.’ It turns out that it is awesome.”
Lynch is the reigning WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
She is set to compete in the women’s Royal Rumble on Saturday.
