Bear Bronson: 2025 Has Been Super Rewarding, I’m Building The Most Authentic Version Of Himself

Bear Bronson is still working on himself.

Since leaving AEW/ROH earlier this year, Bear Bronson has exploded on the indie scene, securing bookings with promotions like GCW, Beyond Wrestling, Create-A-Pro, and Limitless Wrestling.

Speaking with Muscle Man Malcolm for a new interview, Bronson said that he needed the indie run so that he can build the most authentic version of himself.

“Coming back to the indies full-time was not only something I wanted to do, but something I needed to do. I’ve been working on this year, working on being a lot more present outside of wrestling and in wrestling, just focusing on today. With wrestling, I just needed to reconnect with the inner fan again. People all the time, they’re like, ‘Where do you wanna go? Where do you wanna sign?’ I’m not even thinking about that. I am focusing on everything that’s in front of me right now and focusing on putting together this persona and the most authentic version of myself that I can before anything like that comes along.”

Bronson went on to say that 2025 has been a very rewarding year for him.

“This year has just been super rewarding and I would even say validating. Validating that I knew I could do it, I knew for years now. Now, every single weekend I’m wrestling maybe four or five times and every single match I have, I’m just dialing in on making this new Bear Bronson come together like okay, if I was to go to TV one day, what do I want to bring to that table? I’ve been throwing different things at the wall, changing up my gear, just different things because I don’t like to stay the same all the time. I like to change and I need to grow as a person, as a performer, as everything. I can’t stay complacent, I can’t stay stagnant because I felt like I stayed complacent for too long and now I’m just kicking things back into gear.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Bear Bronson said that he was trying to turn chicken shit into chicken salad in AEW/ROH. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
