Bayley’s John Cena Tribute Gear Nearly Didn’t Happen
Bayley was part of history as she faced Sol Ruca on the Saturday Night’s Main Event that featured John Cena stepping into the ring one final time. While neither Bayley nor Cena came out on top, the former multi time Women’s Champion made sure she had special gear designed for the occasion.
Ultimately, that gear didn’t see the light of day. Bad weather prevented her from wearing her original plan, but she thanked one individual in particular who pulled off a “miracle” in the span of 24 hours.
“My original gear got stuck in some bad weather, so I text our seamstress team Friday morning asking for a miracle,” Bayley wrote. “Lori here MADE THIS GEAR FOR ME IN 24 HOURS. I gave her the colors and she got to work ❤️ That is a TRUE superstar. Thank you @nogimmickgear!!! #NeverGiveUp.”
Red and black were the main colors on Bayley’s gear as she paid tribute to the first thing John Cena ever wore on WWE Television. Whether fans understood the callback or not, Bayley went through quite the journey to make sure her attire became a reality.
