Bayley Thought WWE Unreal Was ‘Very Strange’ At First, Explains Why She Now Considers It To Be A Win

Bayley gives her take on WWE Unreal.

Since the show’s debut in July 2025, hundreds of names in the world of wrestling have gave their take on WWE Unreal. Even with the mixed opinions, the show does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon, as the third season was recently confirmed for Summer 2026.

In a new interview with WittyWhittier, Bayley gave her thoughts on the controversial show.

“I’d say it’s a little bit of both. At first, when it was first presented to all of us, I thought it was very very strange. I felt like I came in during an era where it was opening up a little bit more. Same with the internet, it got popular and Instagram and now people want to get to know the real you instead of what they see on TV and sometimes that helps with popularity. I’ve realized that with myself, I was able to connect with fans better when I let them in a little bit more. That’s kind of how I saw it, this might be a good way for wrestling fans to see us in a different light and really connect with us on a more human level and maybe want to cheer for us more, you know, or want us to win that much more. Then, it’s also good for a non wrestling fan to see it. People love reality shows and the fact that we get to do this on Netflix and really show what we’re all about, I think it’s just a win. As a whole, as difficult as it might be for some of us to kind of be vulnerable and kind of show that side, they still don’t get to see everything. You could watch clips of it and it’s like, you still don’t really know what happened. I think it’s a good happy medium and you just have to kind of accept it because Netflix has done a great job with it. If we’re gonna do this, they’re doing it in the best way possible.”

Bayley recently stated that she wishes WWE could find a healthy balance for live events. Check out her full comments by clicking here.
