Bailey McRoberts (Teagan Thorne), Who Was In A Coma For Two Weeks And Pronounced Dead, Hopes To Compete In WWE

Bailey McRoberts, who competes under the name Teagan Thorne, hopes to one day step into a WWE ring after surviving a car crash that had her in a coma for two weeks and pronounced dead.

Local 12 in Indiana wrote a feature story on the 22-year-old McRoberts, who was in a car crash when she was 11 that left her skull split open and doctors doubting she’d ever walk again.

“My skull was completely open, fractured open. My dad had to hold it in his hands together at the scene,” said Bailey.

Bailey was pronounced dead at the scene but was revived by an EMT. She spent two weeks in a coma and nearly two years in recovery.

“Doctors said I’d never play sports again,” she said. “I’d be lucky just to be normal. Now I’ve exceeded everyone’s expectations—and I’m doing what I love more than anything in the world.”

Bailey was not only able to play sports again, she got into a wrestling ring at age 15 and debuted for OVW in February.

She said her dream is to one day be in WWE.
