Atsushi Onita Sidelined With Cervical Spine Injury

Onita commented on the injury.
68-year-old Atsushi Onita was in action at an independent show in Japan on January 18th. He participated in a six-man tag Scramble Bunkhouse Deathmatch.
He came out of the match with a neck injury, and after a visit to the hospital, it was determined that Onita suffered a cervical spine injury and will be out of action for two weeks.
The injury occurred when Onita went for a piledriver on a table, but the table legs bent and Onita fell on his neck. After it happened, it appeared as if he could not move.
