On the June 5th edition of ROH on HonorClub, Thunder Rosa and Athena would come face to face as Rosa would make the save for Rachel Armstrong after Athena would attack her after a Proving Grounds match.
On June 14th, the two women would get into a social media spat, with Athena kicking it off by calling what Rosa has accomplished ‘irrelevant’.

Rosa would respond to Athena in kind, with Athena then doubling down on calling the former AEW Women’s World Champion irrelevant.
