Athena Surpasses 900 Days As ROH Women’s World Champion
Forever champ.
On Wednesday, May 28, Athena once again made history, as her reign as the ROH Women’s World Champion hit the 900 day mark.
Throughout the reign, Athena has defended the belt on 28 seperate occasions, defeating major stars like Hikaru Shida, Willow Nightingale, Miyu Yamashita, Skye Blue, Billie Starkz, Marina Shafir, Nyla Rose, and Red Velvet.
Much has been made of Athena’s historic reign, as she became the longest reigning champion in company history back in September 2024. Her reign was only at the 646 day mark at that point.
The momentum surrounding the ‘The Fallen Goddess’ started to faulter back in April, as she suffered her first pinfall loss in nearly two years at the hands of Mercedes Mone.
