Athena Returns On AEW Dynamite
Athena made her return to television on the October 22nd episode of AEW Dynamite.
As Mercedes Mone was backstage still wearing cake from her 12 belts celebration being ruined, Athena entered the picture, giving Mercedes an offer she couldn’t refuse.
The ROH Women’s Champion proposed that she and Mercedes team up and go after the AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions.
Mercedes was intrigued by the idea as the allure of a 13th title was too much to ignore. Athena pulled Mercedes away, ready to take her to minion training.

“The Fallen Goddess” had been off television since ROH Death Before Dishonor in August when she successfully defended her ROH Women’s Title against Mina Shirakawa.
