Ash By Elegance Says She’d Love To Share The Ring With Bayley Again
Ash By Elegance wants to face off with Bayley.
NXT Heatwave featured arguably the biggest moment of Ash By Elegance’s career, as the 36-year-old was able to win her first major title, the TNA Knockout’s World Championship.
Speaking with TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring podcast for a new interview, Ash By Elegance was asked about potentially facing off with Bayley in the future.
“I would absolutely love that. I would absolutely love to share the ring with Bayley. Seeing her on Raw with her vignettes and what she’s doing and reflecting and things like that, I’m like, ‘Oh girl, I was there and I know what you’re going through, but you’re going dark and you’re going deep.’ So I think definitely she doesn’t know the hunger and the drive that I am capable of now. I definitely feel as though, whatever she’s going through is a different animal and different beast. I feel like there would be two totally different competitors in that ring if I were to ever go down because she’s not the Bayley that I once knew. She’s not the Bayley that came out with the ding-dongs, she’s not the Bayley with the side ponytail, she’s not Dora The Explorer. I’m definitely not Dana Brooke, I’m not the Temu Toni Storm, I’m not just breaking out of this character — I have really done everything in my power to prove that I can stand with the very best.”
For those who aren’t aware, Bayley and Ash By Elegance have quite a bit of history together, facing off in eight different televised singles matches from 2015 to 2019.
