The pairing between Anderson and Rhodes was considered to be a big success in AEW, especially due to the chemistry that stemmed from the history between both families.
Speaking with Denise Salcedo for a new interview, Arn Anderson was asked to talk about the biggest difference between AEW’s version of Rhodes and the version that is currently portrayed in WWE.
“He had full control of his destiny with AEW. WWE is very strict and regimented. There’s a pecking order of people in charge with the new company TKO buying it. It’s become a mega company if that was possible, multi-billionaire company. I just think that you’ve got a lot more hands on with AEW and the talent talking to Tony Khan than you do with WWE and I don’t know if that’ll ever change.”
Cody Rhodes is the current reigning WWE Undisputed Champion. He began his second reign with the title after defeating John Cena at SummerSlam in August.
