Anthem SVP Refutes Report Regarding TNA Talent Not Being Able To Work MLP Shows

During a recent Signed by Superstars virtual signing, TNA wrestler Moose spoke about his relationship with former TNA executive Scott D’Amore.

In the comment, he said, “I talk to him (Scott D’Amore) at least once every other week, maybe once a month. He’s doing great. He has his new fed, Maple Leaf Pro. They’re doing awesome. I wish I could work for them but you know how business is with the whole TNA — they have a relationship with AEW, we’re in competition with AEW so you know how all that whole nonsense goes.”

The Wrestling Observer published a report stating, “TNA talent is not allowed to work on Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Wrestling shows even though most of them like D’Amore. The reason is that TNA management considers AEW as the enemy and D’Amore is allowed to book AEW talent. This is no way that decision would be made by anyone in TNA who cared about the talent and basically shows at the top level, TNA is controlled by WWE.”

Anthem Senior Vice President refuted the report, writing on social media, “None of this is true, BTW.”

Fightful Select reached out to TNA President Carlos Silva, who also denied that TNA talent can’t work MLP events. Scott D’Amore also refuted the report to Fightful.
