Alex Windsor: To Be Thrown Into The Deep End With AEW, I Do Think Sometimes It Hinders My Character A Little Bit

Alex Windsor is learning on the fly.

Since signing with AEW earlier this year, Alex Windsor has been very open about her adjustment to television wrestling. In a new interview with SoundSphere Magazine, the 32-year-old talked about how she’s basically starting from scratch again.

“Going into the matches is kind of like starting from scratch again. I think that’s the best way to kind of describe it. The wrestling side of it I could do with my eyes closed, but everything else that you have to think about, I’ve never really had to do that before.”

Windsor continued on and talked about her character being hindered a bit with the way she was introduced in AEW.

“So there are a lot of things that I know I can do, but then there are also a lot of things that are very much new to me. To be thrown into the deep end with AEW, I do think sometimes it hinders my character a little bit.”

Windsor was also hopeful that she’ll get more comfortable with every match that she does for the company.

“I’d like to hope that with every match that I do, I’ll get more comfortable. Then I actually can be myself a bit more, because I’m not thinking about so many things.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Alex Windsor opened up about potentially teaming with Jamie Hayter. Check out her full comments by clicking here.
