Alberto Del Rio Attacks Vikingo’s Father On Morning TV Show
Vikingo and Del Rio are set to meet for the AAA Mega Championship.
Promotion for their Mega Title match.
At the AAA TV taping on May 31st, Alberto El Patron is going to be defending the AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo.
To promote the bout, Del Rio guest appeared on the morning television show ‘Venga la alegría.’ There was also an appearance from the father of Vikingo. Del Rio would go on to attack Vikingo’s father.
In April, WWE announced their acquisition of Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide and they are going to present WWE x AAA Worlds Collide on June 7th. The result of the Vikingo versus Del Rio match was revealed when WWE advertised the Vikingo versus Chad Gable bout at Worlds Collide as a AAA Mega Championship match.
Vikingo was present on the 5/26 Monday Night Raw and got involved in Gable’s Money in the Bank qualifier after Gable ambushed him.
