AJ Styles To Be Inducted Into 2026 WWE Hall of Fame, Leaves Gloves In The Ring

AJ Styles is set to enter the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame.
WWE paid tribute to Styles on Monday’s Raw, less than a month after he had to retire following his loss to Gunther at WWE Royal Rumble.
Styles joked he was going to wear a suit, but the last time he did, he beat up Cody Rhodes. Styles reflected on his career, noting where he wrestled, and giving a shoutout to Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, and Frankie Kazarian from his time in TNA. He then said he went to NJPW where he met some Good Brothers, and they showed him how to have fun.
Styles said that he’s done almost everything, but one thing he hasn’t done is be a full-time father. He said his biggest flex is having the best wife in the world because she pushed him forward and held the family together.
Styles said that things didn’t go the way he wanted against Gunther, but called it poetic because he went out where he started, noting his Royal Rumble debut in 2016, and his career ending at the Rumble in 2026.
He addressed not leaving his gloves in the ring at the Rumble, but said he’s a man of his word. He said he didn’t take off his gloves at the Rumble because he wanted to come to Atlanta and leave his gloves at home.
Styles took off his jacket and gloves, leaving them in the middle of the ring. He closed by thanking the fans.
