AJ Styles To Put His Career On The Line In Match With Gunther At WWE Royal Rumble
AJ Styles will put his career on the line at the WWE Royal Rumble.
The January 19 episode of WWE Raw kicked off with a big promo segment from ‘The Ring General’ himself, who declared for the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Gunther was then quickly interrupted by AJ Styles, who said that he watches a rematch at the Royal Rumble.
After some more back and forth, Gunther agreed to give the match to Styles as long as he puts his career on the line. Gunther also gave Styles until the end of the show to accept or decline the bout.
Just before the main event match, Styles informed Adam Pearce that he will be accepting Gunther’s challenge after speaking with his wife. Pearce quickly made the match official.
