AJ Styles Shares Best Advice He Received From John Cena

When AJ Styles entered WWE in 2016, he quickly became one of John Cena’s greatest rivals. The two battled across multiple years in some of the most revered matches in their respective careers.

“Beat up John Cena” not only became a catchphrase for Styles, it became a way of life.

Ahead of Cena’s retirement, Styles spoke with WWE and shared the best advice he received from Cena.

“Best advice that John Cena has given me? Don’t wait to do what you want to do or say what you want to say. Do it then, do it now if given the opportunity,” he said.
