AJ Styles Def. Shinsuke Nakamura At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Styles scored a win over Nakamura.

One of the matches on the bill at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24th was a singles bout between A.J. Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

It was set up on the 1/23 SmackDown. Nakamura was curious about why Styles would be putting his career on the line against GUNTHER and added that he wants to test Styles out before he goes into the match.

Styles ended up defeating Nakamura. During the bout, Michael Cole spoke about their history in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

Post-match, Styles and Nakamura embraced one another. Styles is heading to the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, where he’ll face GUNTHER. Styles’ career will be on the line.
