AJ Lee: You’ve Had My Back For A Decade, This Run is For You, My Wonderful Weirdos

AJ Lee says this run is for her ‘wonderful weirdo’ fans.

On this past week’s edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, AJ Lee would make her long awaited return to WWE programming, joining her husband CM Punk in his fight against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and his wife, WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch. AJ would skip her way to the ring, entering it as Punk beamed on before taking the fight to Becky Lynch, running her out of the ring and skipping around the ring with the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship following the show going off the air.

In a new social media post on September 8th, Lee would send a message to her fans, noting that because they had her back for a decade, this run is for the ‘wonderful weirdos’ that she calls her fans.
