Airica Demia On Her Gimmick: I’ve Wanted To Be An Anime Character Since I Was Five, It Comes Together Naturally
Airica Demia wants to be different.
With her unique My Hero Academia-themed character, Airica Demia stands out as a true character on the independent scene during a time where many performers only focus on their in-ring skill.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Demia spoke about her attempts to be different in the world of wrestling and how she’s wanted to be an anime character since she was five years old.
“Realistically, any effort and thought that I really put into it is just trying to be different. I just want to look like an anime character. I’ve wanted to be an anime character since I was five, so it kind of all just comes together a little naturally. But seeing myself in comparison to the three other women that are going be in this match at [WrestleCade], I definitely got competition when it comes to standing out, I tell you that.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Airica Demia spoke about learning from top names on the independent scene like Priscilla Kelly and Zayda Steel. Check out her full comments by clicking here.
