Airica Demia Says She’s Learned From Working With Names Like Priscilla Kelly And Nixon Newell
Airica Demia is learning from some of the industry’s top names.
Despite only being 20 years old, Demia has already established herself as a rising presence in the world of independent wrestling, competing for promotions like Beyond Wrestling and Viral Pro Wrestling amongst many others.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Demia spoke about learning from top names like Priscilla Kelly and Nixon Newell.
“I’ve had so many of those recently. Just working with people who are like superstar level, just in general. Nixon Newell, I know she’s a little controversial right now, but she was a fantastic wrestler. She was fantastic to learn from based on all the knowledge that she’s had [from] building up for years. Priscilla Kelly’s a great person to learn from. I learned stuff from people like Brittany Brooks. She teaches me a lot too. She’s really good at owning her own presence and it kind of helped me a lot. Even watching somebody like Zayda Steel when she was in the ID program, seeing her own the ring anytime she was in it, whether she was talking or not, helped me kind of be like, ‘Okay, so what do I do to do that, but as me?’ It’s all very helpful. Just watching women who are in bigger places than me.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Demia spoke about her NWA debut in 2023 and how she wasn’t ready for it at the time. Check out her full comments by clicking here.
