Ricochet puts everyone on notice.
A Casino Gauntlet match took place at AEW Full Gear to determine the first-ever AEW National Champion. Emerging victorious from the match was Ricochet.
After his title win, Ricochet took to the Full Gear post-show media scrum and put everyone in the company on notice, including AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander.
“It feels great but again, it feels very familiar,” Ricochet said about becoming AEW National Champion. “And this is honestly just the beginning, guys. I hope you know this. This is just one of many because I’ve got a couple sharks here (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona) who smell blood in the water and now are very hungry. So, everybody in the entire company better watch out because we’re eyeing you. Even Kris Statlander, you better watch your back because I might come for that one next.”
