– The Hangman Page and MJF face-to-face segment leads to an official championship match being made between them for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Maxwell is executing the contract he earned at AEW All In: Texas.
* Jon Moxley def. Kevin Knight
– Darby Allin came out with the body bag. He put Wheeler Yuta in that bag. Claudio Castagnoli came out to save Yuta. However, Will Ospreay returned to exact revenge on the Death Riders. Ospreay issues a challenge for a Lights Out Steel Cage Match at Forbidden Door.
– A Cope vs. Big Stoke hype package airs.
* Alex Windsor, Queen Aminata & Willow Nightingale def. Mercedes Mone, Thekla & Skye Blue
– Athena and Toni Storm watched this match from the balcony. They would brawl after the match, and next week, Storm and Windsor will do battle with Athena and Mercedes
– Will Ospreay tells Renee Paquette that he has secured Hiroshi Tanahashi for his team. He says he is still working on the other two members. He tells Renee to tell her husband that he wants to have a chat with him next week in Scotland.
– Adam Copeland def. Stokely Hathaway by DQ.
– FTR interferes. This voids their restraining order. While they’re beating down Copeland, Christian Cage comes out. Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian come out to try to attack him, but Copeland saves Christian. They hug, but Christian isn’t exactly ready to mend fences completely.
– A HOOK teaser vignette aired.
* Hiromu Takahashi, Hologram, Brody King, & Tomohiro Ishii def. Kyle Fletcher, The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson), & Josh Alexander
– Renee Paquette interviews Swerve Strickland ringside. She heavily insinuates that he may not be fully cleared to compete. He insists that he’s going to fight Kazuchika Okada no matter what. Okada comes out. They get physical, but security separates them.
– Jon Moxley is informed by Alicia Atout that Will’s team has Tanhashi. So, MOX goes into the extras locker room and tells Matthew and Nicholas Jackson that they need to talk.
– Tony Schiavone then announces matches for Forbidden Door:
- Adam Copeland & Christian Cage vs. Kip Sabian & Nick Wayne
- Lights Out Steel Cage Match: Death Riders, Gabe Kidd, and The Young Bucks vs. Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi, and Kenny Omega
