Adriana Rizzo Says She Couldn’t Walk For Six Weeks After ACL Surgery

Things are starting to look up for Adriana Rizzo.

The 26-year-old last competed in April, as she suffered a full tear on her ACL during a practice session. In July, Rizzo underwent surgery on the knee, officially kicking off her road to recovery.

Speaking with Justin Stuckey of the Stuck In My Thoughts podcast for a new interview, Adriana Rizzo revealed that she couldn’t walk for six weeks after her surgery.

“Injuries, they’re always tough, but I’m doing okay. I believe everything is a part of the plot, it’s apart of life. First few weeks, really rough, I couldn’t walk for six weeks. I watched a lot of movies, I sat around. But now that I’m walking, things are looking up. Things are going alright.”

Fightful will continue to provide updates on Adriana Rizzo and her recovery from injury as they are made available.
