Adam Scherr (Braun Strowman): “I Like To Think I Changed What It Meant To Be A Big Man In The Wrestling Business”

Scherr looks back at his time as an active in-ring performer.

For a combined 11 years of his life, Adam Scherr a.k.a. Braun Strowman was a WWE talent. His second run with the company came to an end in May 2025, and he has not wrestled since April.

Scherr reflected on his time with WWE while appearing on TMZ’s Inside The Ring podcast. He said he likes to joke that if WWE had let him just be himself, he would have ruled the world. Scherr added that he likes to think he changed what it meant to be a big man in the pro wrestling business.

“I always joke around, if WWE would have ever just let me be me, I would have ruled the world. But, we all play a part in a play. I didn’t have the pencil so I did my best I could with what they gave me every week. I like to think I changed what it meant to be a big man in the wrestling business…”

He is making the media rounds to promote his food show on USA Network titled ‘Everything on the Menu.’ The new season premieres on October 24th.
