Action Andretti On What He’s Learned From Lio Rush: We’re Not Just A Tag Team, We’re Business Partners

Lio Rush is lining the pockets of Action Andretti.

Since splitting away from Top Flight earlier this year, Lio Rush and Action Andretti have been mildly successful as a tag team, facing off against teams like The Sons Of Texas, Private Party, the Gates Of Agony, and The Gunns.

Speaking with Fightful’s Kate Elizabeth for a new interview, Rush was asked about adapting to different styles.

“If there’s one thing about me, it’s that I’m adaptable. I’m adaptable. I like the style that I bring no matter what setting that I’m in. I feel like this is what makes me one of the best wrestlers in the world. But a lot of people are sleeping on it. So you better wake up. Actually don’t wake up. Keep sleeping.”

Action Andretti was then asked to share what he’s learned from Lio Rush.

“Hey, if there’s one thing I learned from Lio—it’s how to make this money. Why you think I was just on the phone cutting deals? Hey, we business partners. We’re not just a tag team. We business partners. I mean, look at the table. Look at the table. We got it all. Hey, new CRU shirts. It’s how to make the money, you know? Hey, don’t get it twisted. I’ve been knowing how to do that, you know? But Lio just helped me learn how to make a little more, if you know what saying.”
