Mickie James Recalls Asking Tommy Dreamer to Take a Chance on Ash by Elegance
The February 26 episode of TNA Thursday Night iMPACT! is set to feature a face-to-face between Ash by Elegance and the returning Mickie James.
James is no stranger to TNA and she recently made her return at No Surrender in Nashville.
Ash by Elegance was forced to vacate the Knockouts Championship just 33 days into her reign, but now she’s cleared to return to the ring.
“Ash you know, I love Ash. We traveled together, we wrestled together… She called me when she got let go of WWE and she really didn’t know what to do,” James recalled. “I talked to her some and then I was like let me call Tommy [Dreamer] because that’s something a friend would do, and I don’t do that for a lot of people.”
Mickie James continued, “It was wonderful to see the people get behind her because I think they wanted to see her get an opportunity to truly shine.”
During the course of the interview with Gabby AF she discussed how she doesn’t approve of Ash’s current character and the way she turned her back on everyone who supported her all this time.
