Rachael ElleringRachael Ellering hasn’t gotten an All Elite graphic, but she is All Elite, by golly. A Fightful Discord subscriber asked about Ellering’s status with the company after ROH’s website included her on their official roster page. Sources have indicated to Fightful that Ellering has been signed to an AEW/ROH deal for quite some time. In many circumstances, there are “All Elite” graphics applied, though that isn’t always the case. Whenever we find out of situations like that, we’ll report accordingly.Ellering wrestled on AEW TV in 2020 against Penelope Ford, as well as in the Women’s Tag Team cup, and then made an appearance on last week’s Rampage against Thunder Rosa. However, she’s appeared on ROH television semi-regularly for the last year, working 17 matches on the brand and picking up six wins.Jordynne GraceJordynne Grace's TNA deal is up in January, but it wasn't always.Fightful Select noted on a recent Backstage Report podcast that Jordynne Grace's TNA contract was up "much sooner than expected." Grace confirmed on Gigantic Pop this week that her contract is actually up in January.Grace re-signed with TNA for two years in the Summer of 2023, with her deal set to expire in the Summer of 2025. However, we're told that at some point her contract was amended and changed to expire in January 2025.WWE sources immediately told Fightful that she's expected to get interest from them upon her contract expiring, and that she'd made a good impression thus far.Damon KempDamon Kemp is no longer with WWE.Damon Kemp, aka Bobby Steveson announced he was no longer with WWE after four years with the company. The brother of the recently released Gable Steveson, Bobby made a much better impression on officials, coaches and fans of WWE. Kemp has performed on NXT, Level Up, 205 Live and WWE Main Event. We're told that this isn't a part of a "round of cuts," and instead, Kemp was told that his WWE contract would not be renewed. This has been more of the norm in recent months for the company. The 25-year old Kemp wrestled his most recent match on NXT on June 25, losing to Tavion Heights. He made his debut in late 2021MarigoldOn July 13th, Marigold presented their latest event, Summer Destiny. The event was a resounding success, with WWE’s IYO Sky defeating Utami Hayashishita in singles action and Sareee defeating Giulia to become the inaugural Marigold Women’s Champion. In addition, another WWE name was backstage at the event.Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has confirmed that Kairi Sane was backstage at Summer Destiny visiting and supporting Iyo Sky. We have not heard if there are plans for Kairi to appear in Marigold in the future. At the event, Myla Grace and Zayda Steel’s brief run as a team together imploded as the two turned on each other after their loss. Earlier this week while speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Zayda Steel commented that she was not under contract with the promotion, or any for that matter. Brennan has also confirmed that Steel is not under contract officially with the company, and will exit the promotion next month. In asking about the contract status of Bozilla and Myla Grace, Brennan also learned that the pair are scheduled to work with Marigold until 2025.We are also told that Giulia came out of the event uninjured and did not re-aggravate her recent wrist injury. Giulia has noted that she has little time left in Marigold and as previously reported, is expected to begin in NXT once her Marigold dates are fulfilled.TrentUnfortunate injury news out of AEW tonight.Tonight's AEW Collision saw Trent taken out by Orange Cassidy with a monkey wrench after months of feuding. However, Trent hasn't competed in the ring in months, since AEW Double or Nothing. Flair was featured on AEW TV a number of times en route to Sting’s retirement in March, including taking a superkick from the Young Bucks at AEW Revolution. However he’s not been featured on AEW TV since then, and Fightful learned that he hasn’t been brought up in quite some time.In addition, we’re told that the partnership between AEW and Wooo! Energy has effectively finished. The sponsorship related to the deal pretty well paid for Flair’s appearances in AEW.Shane HasteOne possible free agent isn’t going to be hitting the market.Just as soon as Retribution were free agents, many of them became….not free agents. Fightful confirmed that Mansoor and Mason Madden (formerly of Retribution) has signed contracts with AEW/ROH, but they’re not the only ones with new deals. Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that former Slapjack, Shane Haste has re-signed with NJPW.Haste recently won the IWGP Tag Team Titles and Strong Openweight Tag Team Titles. Haste also made several AEW appearances lately.Fightful Select reported last month that Haste’s New Japan Pro Wrestling contract was set to expire in June. However, the two sides were able to reach an agreement to keep him with the company. NWANWA made numerous re-signings, but lost a couple of former champions along the way.Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp spoke to former tag team champion Missa Kate and former Junior Heavyweight Champion Joe Alonzo about leaving the National Wrestling Alliance and what lies ahead.Missa Kate said that she stopped being invited to NWA tapings earlier this year, and figured that her departure was coming at the end of her contract. She also noted she believes she left on positive terms and was complementary of all she learned there. She was also excited that her former tag team champion partner Madi/Wren Sinclair signed with NXT and said that she hopes they can reunite down the line. She also noted she's had conversations with a few places, and unfortunately could no longer do AEW extra work or pursue a couple of opportunities in Japan or Canada due to her NWA contract when she was there.Joe Alonzo told Fightful that he was offered an 18-month contract, but did not think the financials of the deal reflected his contributions to the company. He noted that he couldn't afford to live working for the NWA, and was told "some people don't have a couch to sleep on," and that was one of the things that ultimately made him decide to leave. He spoke about doing extra work in AEW (including against Cody Rhodes) as well as WWE against Gunther.CJ PerryCJ Perry is no longer with AEW, and hasn't been for quite some time.CJ Perry, the former Lana, confirmed to USA Today that her time with All Elite Wrestling had finished up, after Fightful mentioned in our Discord this spring that she wasn't expected back in the company or factored into creative plans.AEW confirmed to Fightful that Perry actually was a part of the April set of releases. Though she had originally came into the company on a per-appearance deal, she'd signed a contract along the way.Perry's AEW run was impeded by injuries both to her and on-screen clients along the way.Jamie HayterJamie Hayter has been out of action for over a year, with little to no updates. In fact, the only couple of updates that we’ve been able to learn since that time was that Hayter worked through an injury to drop the AEW Women’s Title at AEW Double or Nothing. Shortly after, it was apparent to All Elite Wrestling that Hayter would be unable to wrestle at AEW All In 2023. Then, it was clear that Hayter wouldn’t be wrestling for the rest of the year, and later was simply sidelined indefinitely. There have been a ton of inquiries and requests for update on Jamie Hayter’s status, and for the better part of a year, things were completely silent outside of Hayter coming . However, Fightful Select learned that Hayter was at an AEW Dynamite show in recent months when the roster had to show up for physicals. The feeling inside the company that there had been some positive movement towards a potential recovery for Hayter. However, we’re not told where that stands as of right now, as her injury was a very serious one. When we asked within AEW they did say that her appearance there was the most positive news towards a possible return that they’ve heard since she’s been sidelined, even though numerous talent who were off TV had to show up for those physicals. AEW talent that we’ve spoken to say they haven’t heard much if anything about Hayter of late. Her being backstage is not a regular occurrence these days, and talent say they haven’t seen her back since, and haven’t heard general updates on her. Those we’ve spoken to said that she’s been keeping to herself and focusing on recovering.Hayter had been battling her injuries for well over a month before dropping the AEW Women’s Title at AEW Double or Nothing and had to get cleared ahead of that show in 2023. To sum it up, last year, the line of thinking was there were no timetables, plans, or even general outlines. There was at least discussion on the possibility of her return this year. Perhaps the most promising element of this was that there have been talent that have had matches pitched to them involving Hayter for a possible return. Thus far, those that we've spoken to close to her and AEW are confident that a return is in the cards.Fightful has reached out to Jamie Hayter to confirm the information directly, but didn’t hear back.
