UFC Exec Speaks About Fighter Pay, Says Deals Are Currently Being Restructured Following Move To Paramount

New deals are being worked on.

As the Q3 2025 TKO Earnings call was ongoing, a question was asked that was centered around fighter pay for the athletes of UFC, now that Paramount inked a seven-year, $7.7 billion deal with UFC to acquire UFC’s media rights in the USA.

Lawrence Epstein, UFC Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, answered the initial question and whether fighter pay will increase or not.

“On the fighter pay question, there’s gonna be some changes to the structure of our deals, in particular with some of our premium athletes that had a percentage of their compensation based upon pay-per-view sales. But that being said, our team is already in the process of working out those deals and as Dana White said, there’s going to be an increase in fighter pay. There’s no doubt about that. But, we feel like it’s going to be in line with what will be consistent with the margins that we’ve maintained over the last several years.”

The next UFC show is scheduled for November 8th, and it’ll be headlined by a welterweight main event bout that’ll see the 18-1-0 Gabriel Bonfim against the 20-6-0 Randy Brown.
