Report: Anderson Silva Received $10.3 Million From UFC Antitrust Settlement

Anderson Silva gets a big payout in UFC Antitrust Settlement.

In October, Las Vegas Judge Boulware agreed to grant preliminary approval for the $375 million settlement in the UFC antitrust lawsuit brought forward by Cung Le.

TKO filed a document on September 26, 2024, announcing that the company “reached an agreement with the plaintiffs to settle all claims asserted in the Le case for an aggregate amount of $375 million payable in installments over an agreed-upon period of time by the Company and its subsidiaries (the “Updated Settlement Agreement”), following the court’s denial of an earlier proposed settlement agreement. The terms of the Updated Settlement Agreement have been memorialized in a long form agreement, which will be submitted to the court for approval. The Company anticipates that the settlement amount will be deductible for tax purposes.”

John S Nash reports Angeion, the Claims Administrator mailed to 1,121 Class Members individualized claim forms and Angeion received a total of 1,088 claims submissions, of which 37 contented their info.

For the class the average payment was $231,022.29 with a median of $86,034.65. The high was $10,334,240.72 and a low of $16,138.45.

According to the report, the $10.3 million claim belongs to Anderson Silva.

This lawsuit covered fighters who competed from December 2010 to mid-2017. Silva had ten fights during that time, including five title fights.
