Maycee Barber Unable To Compete In Main Event Against Erin Blanchfield At UFC on ESPN 68, Bout Canceled

The main event between Maycee Barber and Erin Blanchfield never went down at UFC on ESPN 68 as the broadcast stated Barber couldn’t compete as she wasn’t medically cleared.

The fight was canceled minutes before the fighters were scheduled to walk to the Octagon. 

No further details were given on the broadcast.

Barber weighed in at 126.5 pounds, half a pound over the non-title flyweight limit. 

In July 2024, Barber pulled out of a fight against Rose Namajunas due to ongoing health issues.
