Report: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua To Headline Riyadh Season Mega-Event In 2026

A fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury could soon be a reality.

According to Ring Magazine, Joshua and Fury “will headline a Riyadh Season mega-event in 2026.”

The report also states, “Before that collision happens, The Ring has also learned that Fury and Joshua are slated to see action in separate fights as part of next year’s Riyadh Season.”

A fight between Fury and Joshua has long been discussed, but never materialized in the ring. Teases of a fight began in 2018 when Fury called Joshua a chicken after his split-draw with Deontay Wilder.

In June 2020, it was announced that Fury and Joshua had agreed to a two-fight deal, but Fury had to complete his trilogy with Deontay Wilder.

Fury previously claimed to have retired in January 2025. He has lost back-to-back fights to Usyk, first by split decision in May 2024 and then by unanimous decision in December 2024. In July, he claimed he would be fighting Usyk once more at Wembley Stadium in April 2026.

Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul on December 20.

Fightful will provide more details on the fight if it comes to fruition.
