Manny Pacquiao Expresses Excitement For Rematch Against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

It was in May 2015 that Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao clashed. Their boxing fight went to 12 rounds, and Mayweather Jr. won via unanimous decision.

A decade later, Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao are set to run it back. The 49-year-old Mayweather Jr. and 47-year-old Pacquiao are set to fight on September 19th at The Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacquiao joined SportsCenter on ESPN and expressed his excitement about the bout.

“It just happened that I’m still active in boxing and then he (Floyd Mayweather Jr.) come out from retirement… He decided to do it again. I’m so excited for the fight.”

Pacquiao and Mayweather are going to be fighting ahead of their rematch this fall. Pacquiao will be fighting Ruslan Provodnikov on April 18th, and Mayweather Jr. is scheduled to fight Mike Tyson in April.
